As you guys might know, I’m still on the job-hunting trail so I’ve been checking those job sites. I came across this opening for a Public Relations Officer, which sounds okay enough.
But when you look a little closer and check out the job description, it’s actually pretty specific about the things you need to do and I think the job scope goes quite a bit beyond just public relations. Misleading job titles like “Sanitation Officer” or “Sandwich Artist” are nothing new, but I think this one is just really something else.
Don’t you just love that job description? Here are my favorite highlights:
- Able to have a good sense of fashion
- Liaising with potential clients in various functions/events
- To be a “personal tour guide” to Singapore for tourists or expatriates
- Able to have good fine dining etiquette
So you tell me… what does that job description actually describe to you? And why would a public relations firm be named Wicked Companions?
Do you REALLY need a diploma? I guess they must have to sort the CVs somehow…
Wicked Companions: Classier than your regular ho.
Yeah…I think “personal companion” was the term they were looking for…or perhaps “call girl”…
Hahah those are much nicer terms than the ones I immediately thought of.
Sounds right up my alley!
You’ve got a diploma and some fine dining etiquette, right? You should give them a call!
I’m also fairly stylish!
The job’s in the bag! You just need to apply!
Bahahaha. Awesome. I loathe job-hunting because of the ridiculous descriptions involved. I wrote about this exact subject a while back — though the job I was looking at didn’t have such… uh… specialist requirements. 🙂
That “personal tour guide” thing really sounds shady…maybe a lapdance diploma would come in handy?
Good fashion sense should be followed up with “also looks good naked.”
You mean you DIDN’T apply?! How could you pass up an opportunity like that? Especially if you’ve never been arrested before- now’s your chance!
That’s a pimping company looking for ” hospitality” ladies and gentlemen.
Hahahah hey I’m in the hospitality industry these days!
