Not only did the forum guys suggest slo-mo in the scene, but many pushed for tighter and more dramatic camera angles too. I debated this for a while, because I wanted to show as much of the body mechanics as I could, since this is primarily for an anim demo reel anyway. Dramatic camera angles won out in the end, so here’s another pass with a couple of new camera angles thrown in.

Question: Should I slo-mo the final head stomp or not? It might look better at real-speed. What say you?

Done:

  • Added a new camera angle for the opening weapon clashes.
  • Added two new camera angles for the Arcane Explosion.
  • Added a new camera angle for the dagger fight.
  • Added a new shot at the end, for closure.

To-do:

  • Add sound effects.
  • Tweak the lighting.
